The Woman's Journey to Well-being

This course is a chance for women to explore issues of ageing, fitness, well-being, weight and self-image, using both physical and psychological perspectives. It aims to provide each participant with a sound basis for planning their journey of continuous well-being, fitness development and a healthier relationship to their body and food.

By the end of the 3-day course you will have:

• spent time in a respectful, non-judgemental group of women
• experienced several different fitness activities
• been introduced to theoretical models and concepts to help our understanding of self-image and weight
• had intelligent discussions about our own motivations to become and remain fit, and about the practical and psychological challenges we face in trying to do so
• been introduced to some basic principles for being fit in modern life
• been supported to create your own fitness plan
